Carrie Friedman, O.D. is a fully licensed optometrist. She graduated from Tufts University with a B.A. in Spanish and Community Health. She then received her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. Her clinical training was completed at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, The Eye Institute at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, and private practices. She completed her optometric residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center.
Dr. Friedman provides comprehensive primary eye care, including contact lenses, pediatric examinations, pre-operative and post-operative care and the management of glaucoma, cataracts, corneal, and retinal disorders.
Dr. Friedman is a member of professional organizations: American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. She is also proficient in Spanish
